Wayne Charvel has been designing and building guitars for 49 years. He has designed guitars for B.C. Rich, Gibson and worked for Fender Guitars in the 1970's. Wayne started Charvel Manufacturing in San Dimas California and later hired Grover Jackson for administration work. Eventually Wayne sold Charvel to Grover Jackson Since that time Wayne has continued to build high end USA made guitars. His current line is the Wayne Guitar.

Hands down Wayne & his son Michael Charvel make the finest American made guitars! Period. I have had two Wayne's and now i am down to one :) Quality and craftsmenship is what you're getting when you buy a Wayne Guitar! It's a two man effort that really gives special attention to every guitar they make. Buy local, all the other big guitar companies are forgein now it seems... Wayne & Mike Charvel build them in Paradise CA, well worth the wait for them to build you a custom guitar!
